There are hundreds of different kinds of mangoes. So, in this video, we are talking about the most common mango found in American grocery stores - the Tommy Atkins type mango.

Different mangoes will have differnt color patterns and taste profiles, but they all have the same texture clues that tell you when they are ripe.
