Maiden call of the AIDAperla by AIDA Cruises at very stormy wind on 17.03.2018 in Hamburg (Germany). Actually, the AIDAperla should have arriving in the morning in Hamburg. Due to the stormy winds, however, cruising on the river Elbe was temporarily prohibited. The AIDAperla had therefore already reduced a bit of speed on the North Sea and then arrived in Hamburg about six hours later than originally planned.
