EDIT: This is a setup on my CRV I used a year or so ago. I currently have culled a lot of things and only use awnings and every now and again a SUV tent if I'm going to need a place warm to hang out, I left this video up in case it could give people some ideas on how to use these screened shelters..
I like having a place to change clothes, cook, eat and hang when it is hot or cold or I'm just tired and need a break. The entire kitchen is off the back. No totes to unload with cooking gear. Everything you see in the hub tent rides on my bed including the tent and rug. The cook station is the Coleman Pack-Away Kitchen and I love it. It's lightweight, fast and easy to assemble and folds into a suitcase. The mattress is a 6" trifold mattress and sits on a very low wood platform. I still have some storage area underneath the platform for items and have enough headroom that is tolerable for moving around.
Hope this gives some an idea of how to work their setup to suit their type of camping.
