It has been a while since I last saw one of these but this new single ear BT Headset from Conambo keeps pace with the latest tech advances such as Bluetooth 5.0, CVC8, and aptx whilst retaining the tried and true form factor.

In the attractive mid-range box is the headset itself, a large non-magnetic storage case, 8 earbuds of various sizes and designs, a charging cable and a well written and easy to read User Guide.

Build quality is excellent and although made from plastic this device does has a premium feel to it. The microphone stalk, often the first item to break, is both flexible and robust and does not look likely to fail anytime soon. All the controls are easy to access and have a good and positive response.

Bluetooth Pairing could not be simpler. Set your phone to pairing mode and look for the device KC10C, turn the headset on and it at once attempts to pair with voice prompts and red/blue confirmation LED. The device can connect to two phones simultaneously.

The control buttons are easy to find by touch and have a proper positive response. There are buttons on the top of the unit for Power, Volume Up and Down, and Mute. On the stalk is the Multifunction button used for pairing, and call control.

Audio quality is fine and the noise-cancelling twin microphones work well and make for a good calling experience, as to be expected from a business-orientated product.

Not inexpensive at £39.99, nevertheless this is a quality piece of kit.
