This Midori Style Travel Notebook cover is a really simple project, done in under half an hour. I was tasked by my brother to make one for my sister-in-law and he showed me some examples online. I had no idea how expensive they can be. Even using some nicer Horween leather, you can achieve a really classy and professional looking Midori style travel notebook for under half the price that I've seen online.

I hope you try making your own! The elastic can be found at JoAnn's, the leather can be purchased at a local Tandy Leather shop or through online distributors, and filler notebooks can be found either online or knock-off ones can be purchased at a craft store like Michaels. Or make your own.
