When CHEYENNE starring unknown actor Clint Walker debuted on TV Sep 20, 1955, it wasn't expected to be one of the biggest hits of the season. It was! Co-starring with the 6'6" musclebound actor was Ann Robinson. Coming off the giant commercial success of WAR OF THE WORLDS (1953), Ann was already a seasoned pro who could not only act, but ride horses! That made her an ideal choice for the CHEYENNE pilot, which also featured a fellow Hollywood High alum, James Garner. The same month that CHEYENNE premiered, Ann was riding to success as a semi-regular on the premiere of another hit series, FURY. How did it all begin? Who taught her to ride? What made Clint Walker such a special man? Find out the answers to these and other questions as Ann joins host Rob Word on stage at The Autry Museum's Wells Fargo Theater and regales a roomful of film buffs and historians with her Hollywood memories. Recorded Sep 20, 2016.
