Hello and welcome to the episode, today I'm fitting the Tec 2 into 1 Stinger exhaust system to my 2022 euro 5 interceptor 650. in this video I will show you how to remove the standard system as well as showing you side be side sound comparisons, stationary and out on the road.

This system is by far the best value for money exhaust you can buy on the market today. The stainless steel finish looks stunning and the welds are spot on,
the centre junction pipe has a baffle installed allowing the use of a small end can without making the exhaust too loud
both pipes have oxygen sensors threads welded into them, so no re mapping required
its very important you read these instructions carefully because the latest edition has been improved from the previous. The main change is, keeping the old gaskets in the head and use the new ones over the top of them, and also making sure you keep the baffle in, especially on euro 5 models because it will run too hot and damage the exhaust system,
now its time to remove the stock system, make sure your bike is cold.
Start by removing the oxygen sensor wire, carefully snip these two zip ties.
Now remove the right horn from the top bolt
slide the plug forward from the bracket, push in the tab and separate
please not the yellow marked wire is for the right exhaust and the green is for the left exhaust
now remove this heat shield, it has one bolt and slides off as shown
loosen the clamp
unscrew the muffler bolt
wiggle the muffler off
unscrew the manifold bolts as shown
now remove the centre clamp and slide off the manifold
remove the oxygen sensor with a quick jolt
do the exact same for the left side
as per instructions leave the stock gaskets in and place the new ones over the top
screw on the oxygen sensor, just nip it up
grease the new gasket to hold it in place
install the left shoulder pipe as shown
screw the two nuts on but dont fully tighten them, just enough so the pipe can move but not fall
grab the down pipe and push the gasket all the way in until it stops
install the clamp so its snug but not tight
slide the pipe on the left shoulder
grease up the right gasket and place it over the old one
screw in the oxygen sensor and tighten
manoeuvre the sensor round the frame and screw the nuts in finger tight
grab the centre section and slide on, this will be a tight fit, give the pipes a wiggle getting the right angle and it will slide in, use wd40 if you need to
install the centre bracket
install the baffle into the muffler, use sir clip pliers, tap in with a screw driver make sure its seated correctly, use wd40 if you need to
slide the muffler on and put the bolt in finger tight
install the exhaust springs, be careful and wear eye protection
install the centre bolt, you may need to put the bike on the stand stand to get access to it
plug in both oxygen sensors and cable tie them as they were before
install the horn
use the supplied cable tie and wrap it round the clutch cable, keeping it away from the down pipe
now get an assistant to pull backward on the exhaust system while you tighten from back to front as shown, the reason I did this was to make the gap larger between the front manifold and the frame, making sure you dont over tighten the manifold bolts, tighten them in sequence from up to down and nip them up with a small ratchet, they are around 12-18 nm
filly clean the exhaust with parts cleaner
allow to run for 15 minutes and check for any leaks , place your hand over the end to hear and feel for any hissing from the joints
allow to cool and recheck manifold bolts
