'An Evening with Harry, Carrie & Garp' was held on the 1st & 2nd August 2006 at the Radio City Music Hall, New York. Along with Stephen King and John Irving, Jo did a reading from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince followed by a Q&A session. The pupose of the event was to raise money for The Haven Foundation and Médécins sans Frontieres. The reading follows a short montage of clips about Jo and HP.
