Track buss that run out to the layout from terminal strips are 10GA solid wire. Wire from booster to EB1 and then to terminal Strip is stranded 16GA wire. You could use 12 GA Stranded or Solid for track buss and you would be fine. With NCE system do not try and use anything large than 16ga wire to hook up to terminals it will not fit.
