The Weser cycle path begins in beautiful Hann. Münden and leads 520 kilometers to Cuxhaven at the North Sea coast. In Hann. Münden, the Fulda River and Werra River flow together at the Weserstein to continue as the Weser River. On the first 55 kilometres of the cycle paths to the left and right of the Weser there are 4 bridges and 5 ferries where you can cross the Weser. The landscape of the Weser river landscape is beautiful and cruising over the river with the Weser ferries is a wonderful experience.

5. Ferry: Weser ferry Herstelle-Würgassen
4th bridge: Weser bridge at Herstelle-Würgassen

As soon as the sun comes out, many cyclists and e-bikes are on tour on the Weser cycle path. This tour will show which side is the most beautiful for cyclists. The official Weser cycle path from this section is on the eastern side, although the cycle path on the western side is just as well developed and signposted.
