Welcome to ARTECHOUSE Houston: TIME AND SPACE exhibit!

ARTECHOUSE Houston is a 26,000 square foot art space that combines art, science and technology to create experimental, immersive experiences for visitors. TIME AND SPACE has 3 exhibitions with over 18 installation pieces including cinematic experiences, laser performances, robotic installations and interactive artworks.

ETERNAL LIFE, created in collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum, explores existence through Nobel Prize-winning works such as the celestial orbits and the revolutionary CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology. The digital content is presented on a lens-like physical canvas that serves as a portal to a parallel universe and explores the landscape of the mind.

INTANGIBLE FORMS, by Japanese multimedia artist Shohei Fujimoto, employs choreographed lasers, strobes and moving lights to explore the universal connections between living beings and their realities. Each piece from the exhibit offers you the chance to contemplate what it means to be human amid chaos and order. *Please note that this exhibition features lasers, strobes, and water-based haze effects and is not recommended for those with a history of light sensitivity.

BEYOND THE LIGHT, created in collaboration with NASA, is a thrilling interstellar journey into the deepest reaches of the cosmos across 8 immersive or interactive installations using the latest images from the James Webb Space and Hubble Space Telescopes. At the heart of the exhibit is a 26 minute cinematic piece employing a 100-million-pixel projection, and the latest audio-visual technology to present a mind-bending exploration into the limitless expanses of the galaxy in over 18K resolution. The title piece is accompanied by 7 multimedia installations that utilize AI to examine NASA’s data on the moon, heliophysics, Mars rover, climate science, and more.

ARTECHOUSE was founded in 2015 by husband and wife duo, Sandro Kereselidze and Tati Pastukhova, becoming the leading destination for technology-driven art. Other ARTECHOUSE locations include Washington DC, New York City and Miami Beach.
