Yayoi Kusama is probably the world’s most famous female living artist. She’s also incredibly versatile being well known for her sculptures and her paintings of pumpkins, her paintings of nets and her installations such as the infinity rooms at the Tate, which has proved incredibly popular. And here we have two early works, they give an insight into her practice from before her global fame.
