This garden was built next to a village called "Gerdehvi" or "Gerdeh Beh" which was located in Niavaran, instead of a reed that was located in the neighborhood of the village. The summer garden of Fath Ali Shah Qajar, which was established in this reed, was called "Ney Avaran", which later became known as "Niavaran". [3] Mohammad Shah also built a small building in this garden, and after him, Nasser al-Din Shah Qajar built the "Sahib Gharanieh Palace" in this garden. The last building that was built in this garden during the Qajar era is the mansion of the Ahmadshahi Palace
