Dragons are depicted as sacred creatures.

Their powerful appearance has fascinated people throughout the ages.

Also, dragons are depicted as water creatures to prevent buildings from catching fire.

I redrew the sketch many times to see how to make the two subjects, the sacred dragon and the gold sliding door, look beautiful.

I had to be very careful with wet ink because it would be repelled by dust.

I paid particular attention to the shading of the ink to create a sense of dynamism with just a few lines.

I also calculated the background reflecting light and the movement of clouds and waves to accentuate the gold and dragons on the sliding door.

In the production process, it wasn't easy to put ink on the gold paper because it repels water.

It took a long time to complete the work because it was so large, and it tested my patience and mental strength.

Finally, the work was completed. I took great care not to crease the work when I delivered it.

I hope the completed dragon sliding door painting will transcend time and allow people who see it to feel the beauty of dragons.
