This video will likely apply to all GM trucks with the 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0 litre engines from 2000 to 2007 and possibly others. The truck has an erratic tinny rattle noticed more with the windows open on acceleration going forward or braking in reverse. The problem is a broken starter drive shift fork which allows the starter drive to slide into the rotating flywheel teeth.
