The Siddheshwar temple is old age Shiva temple believed to be built on Pravara river bank during Shilahaar Family ruling in Maharashtra about 5th Century AD. The Siddheshwar temple is unique in that way it was buried till 1780 AD. North and south of the west sabhamandapa are small open mandapas. Both side (East & West) Doorframe carving of Sanctum is astonishing but Nandi is placed in East mandapa . In Maharashtra sculpture of camels in temple can be found very rarely. It is here, it’s special.
