It was a leisurely morning when an ad caught our eye. Mark Wahlberg would be at the Danville, CA Costco from 10:30 AM to Noon....today!

Ordinarily, we don't follow celebrities that closely because, well we just are not that interested. But, Mark Wahlberg is a different story. He appears in a very good video featuring himself, Abraham Ancer (Golf pro.), and Grupo Vidanta (Resort developer in Mexico.). You can see the video here: https://www.aimfair.com/blogpost244-W...

Aimfair follows events that occur at Grupo Vidanta pretty closely. So this event in Danville, CA was a must see.

Danville, CA is a relatively small town, and not many celebrities venture into the area. Consequently, we did not think there would be many people who would take advantage of seeing Mark Wahlberg in person with such short notice.

So off we go. Costco opens at 10 AM, so there probably won't be many people there beforehand. Wrong!! When we arrived, the parking lot was full, it was raining and we parked across the street, saying under our breath, what is going on?

We get into the Costco building and walk toward the Flecha Tequila display, only to find lines of people ready and waiting for their glimpse at Mark Wahlberg. "Is this the end of the line?" we ask. "Well, yes, but if you want to buy a bottle and have it signed by Mr. Wahlberg, you have to get in line outside" is the answer. Outside? Yes.

So I go to the outside area and MA stays inside for a glimpse if nothing else.

I find the end of the line. The video shows what I saw. Clearly, there was no chance of getting Mr. Wahlberg's signature on anything today. It was a fun experience anyway.
