Repair of the motion sensor of the LED spotlight. With your own hands.
In this video, we will repair the motion sensor of the LED spotlight that was damaged by water damage.
Since the spotlight is on the street and is constantly exposed to atmospheric precipitation in the form of rain, snow, the sensor could not withstand such a load and failed.
At first, the repair work was planned as a simple disassembly of the motion sensor and its cleaning. However, in the process it turned out that water corrosion on the board caused a little more damage as expected. Therefore, in this case, it was necessary to restore the partially damaged donor board, solder the damaged smd component. And thus again put the motion sensor into operation.
