I want to start off by saying that I’m not an expert in any way, so if you’re ever worried about a purchase you’ve made being authentic, you should consider getting it professionally authenticated! These tips are based off of my observations from purchasing various Le Pliage pieces from Longchamp over the years as well as information I’ve read along the way online.

I find Le Pliage bags can be difficult to follow with all of their changes throughout the years as well as the different types of lines they release and then discontinue. Hopefully this video is helpful though and if you have any tips that you want to share, please add them in the comment section!

*Editing Joanne: It’s ironic that I talk about the uniformity of the stitching, but on my newest Longchamp, the orange pouch with handle you see for a lot of this video, the stitching on the tabs where the leather closes on the zipper is definitely not the best! I purchased this directly off of the Longchamp website, and it’s honestly the lowest quality out of everything else I have from the brand ☹
