Here’s a simple recipe for Kolmi Shaker Pakora (prawn fritters):

Ingredients:

*For the Pakora:*
250g prawns (cleaned and deveined)
1 cup chickpea flour (besan)
1-2 green chilies (finely chopped)
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
Salt to taste
Water (as needed)
Oil (for frying)

*For Garnish:*
Chopped coriander leaves
Lemon wedges

Instructions:

1. *Prepare the Batter:*
In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpea flour, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
Gradually add water to form a thick batter.

2. *Mix Prawns:*
Add the cleaned prawns to the batter and ensure they are well-coated.

3. *Heat Oil:*
In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.

4. *Fry the Pakoras:*
Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the prawn batter mixture into the oil.
Fry in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
Remove and drain on paper towels.

5. *Serve:*
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges and chutney.
