I’ve been wanting to do another concept for the quint ever since it was discussed that it might be incubating in the top of the Synthesizer. I wanted this design to be butterfly inspired because the way it’s growing reminds me of a chrysalis and I think an unstable alien-like insect would go really well on Ethereal Workshop. Its name comes from “ptero” (relating to wings) and “insect”. What kind of sound do you think it would make? I’m hoping the quint does something really big and unexpected to round off the song!
