We say we want to carry Christ to everyone, everywhere, but what does that actually mean? What does it look like, on the ground, with real people? In this episode, Tanner is joined by Every Home’s Prayer and Margins Director for Africa, Sarita Chitapa, to explore these very questions.

Today, the average Christian is a woman living in the Global South. What is her experience like, in the Christian church and in her community? What is her calling? Will she be able to become who she was created to be? Sarita shares about her journey from being a “supportive ministry wife” to advocating for her own role and voice in the global fellowship of Every Home. She and Tanner discuss what it’s like to be a woman in Africa today and the unique way women are suited to reach people who are marginalized with the love of Christ. Sarita’s wisdom and perspective are vital to the conversation about Redeeming Missions.

Sarita Chitapa serves as the Prayer and Margins Director for Every Home Africa. She has built and empowered a network of women across Africa who are carrying Christ to marginalized people groups in diverse and nuanced ways.
