Mangan to Lachung
Lachung to Katao

This is Episode 3 of North Sikkim Travel Series where we travel to Lachung around 52km from Mangan and Katao which is around 25km from lachung.
We returned to Lachung after visiting Katao and stayed the night there.
Lachung is a small town of North Sikkim district with an altitude of around 9000 ft. Altitude of Katao is around 15000 ft.

1 copy of permit is required to submit in Tung Checkpost (20km from Mangan)
Use of GoPro or any action camera is strictly banned in North Sikkim and is required to to be submitted at Tung Checkpost. You need to collect it from here on your return.

Room rent ₹1000 per night.
Permit done in advance from Wongden costs us 800 per bike for 4 days (200 per day per bike).

Lachung
Hotel Royal Mountain (Manik da - 9903482021)
Fooding & Lodging - ₹800 per head per day
