MELASMA TIPS AND SOLUTIONS FOR BRIGHTER SKIN
Hello love! Cody here with Montarbo Skincare. Always here to help YOU have the most healthy, glowing and gorgeous skin possible.

Today I am going to share a few of my melasma tips and solutions with you so that you can honestly achieve brighter skin. Recently I've seen a ton of new clients with melasma who are not using the right products or the right strength of ingredients to see a noticeable improvement. If you have very dark discolored marks on your face that won't go away with "normal" product and approaches, then I hope today's video will help.

It breaks my heart to see people sucked into buying crap that will never work on their specific type of pigmentation. Do not get caught in the hype with claims and new products touting to be the only thing you need. Melasma is a very stubborn and different type of pigmentation that needs to be consistently treated with the right concentrations of ingredients.

Melasma usually occurs during or after pregnancy or from a hormone response often from using the pill.

It's best to use what we know works instead of using products that only brighten the top layer of your skin.

Hydroquinone in 4% is one of the most effective agents available ( use 2% if you are sensitive) along with Retin-A, Retinol, AHA acid, Vitamin C, Azelaic acid, Alpha Arbutin, and light chemical peels. (There are more which I will talk about in a new video soon. )

Be careful with ANY lasers treatments like IPL or deep chemical peel as they can cause the melasma to rebound and come back even darker.

Please reach out if you have any questions about your melasma below and as always, stay gorgeous.
