A busy Sunday at Birmingham Airport with lots of aircraft action with runway 15 in operation, but the main attraction in this video is the classic West Midlands Railway Class 323 Farewell Railtour at Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street Stations, as they have now retired from the WMR fleet and some have gone to a new life with Northern.

We begin at Birmingham New Street by taking an Avanti West Coast train to Birmingham International, then we take the Air-Rail Link to Birmingham Airport and then the X1 Platinum bus to NCP car park 7.

After some plane spotting, we head back to Birmingham International Station to see the Class 323 Farewell Railtour opearted with two units, one in the original WMR livery and one in the classic Regional Railways livery, we then lastly head back to Birmingham New Street Station where I jumped off just in time to see the Class 323 depart with a big crowd of train enthusiasts on the platform to bid farewell to the Class 323s of West Midlands Railway.
