Cheddar Gorge is the largest and the most unique gorge in the UK, located in the south of England in Somerset. The Gorge reaches a maximum depth of 137 m, more than 400 ft. The gorge was formed over one million years ago during the last ice age, and Britain's oldest complete human skeleton was found in one of the caves here.
