We are taking a guided tour of Ephesus, an ancient city in Türkiye right outside of Kuşadası. Its excavated remains reflect centuries of history, from classical Greece to the Roman Empire, when it was the Mediterranean’s main commercial hub, to the spread of Christianity. We walk through the paved streets that wind past squares, baths, and monumental ruins.

Ephesus is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, regarded as the second-biggest city of the Roman Empire and the most important trading hub of the Mediterranean where trade occurred between the East and West.

We visit the highlights of this ancient site including:
The Library of Celsus - The third largest library in the ancient world.

Stadium - First built in the Hellenistic period, the stadium has a seating capacity could hold 24,000 and was used for entertainment and event functions.

Temple of Hadrian - The Temple of Hadrian is one of the best-preserved structures and was built before 138 A.D. for Emperor Hadrian’s visit.

Roman Baths - These baths included pools with heating technology from a high-tech network of clay pipes, and latrines that served as the city's social area, where people would spend time relaxing and discussing politics, philosophy, and other important affairs.
