This is my ae86. I love this car. The old owner lived just down the road from me, and I would stop in and ask about it every few weeks for years, until he finally sold it to me.

I had no time or space to work on it, so it sat for a few years.

I tried to drive it and realized it needed tons of work. I replaced the clutch. Then realized the brakes didnt work. I rebuilt the brakes and tried to drive it, and the brake lines immediately blew. I spend the winter refreshing the rear end, running new lines, and putting all new bushings in the car.

Then I took it to an event to do some grip racing. I quickly realized the car loved to go sideways and had a ton of fun. The marshals black flagged me over and over again, so I decided I should take it to a dedicated drift event.

It was the most fun I ever had.
