A section of Green Lane on the border of Small Heath and Bordesley Green was cordoned off by West Midlands Police on the evening of Tuesday 22nd January.

The section of the street between Third Avenue and Imperial Road, near Marlborough Junior School, was completely sealed off to traffic as police launched an investigation.
