Today I present to you the complete creation of a tool for making small beads in series on a part on a wood lathe.
As usual, I started with a wood chisel to make the comb tool. The tool is just under 24mm wide. The beads are 6mm in diameter, so the tool makes almost 4 beads simultaneously. you must limit yourself to 2 or 3 slots on the tool, because otherwise it becomes difficult to make roundings on the part to be turned.
I started with tools to make semi-spherical shapes, but you can imagine the profiles you want, a bit like the router or router method. imagine a square, an octagon or any other shape. The texturing possibilities become endless.
