What's it like to be in a very old war game? Where everything's pixelated and there are all sorts of crazy stuff happening around you. There are soldiers and aliens and weird machine weapons. And your best ally probably looks exactly like you in different clothes. You hear laser guns around you and there are big, pixelated explosions. And on top of all that, you hear THIS music as the soundtrack of your environment and everything that's happening around you.
This was the idea behind this track. I wanted to recreate the sound of those games and come up with an epic war theme. I wanted to synthesize simple sounds. The music on those vintage arcade games has always been fascinating for me and this was a very fun project to work on. I'll probably make more in the future and will go back to the arcade world.
