Chains of Sorrow is a YouTube channel dedicated to documenting the traditional way of mourning for Imam Hussein by Iranian Shiites. In this ceremony, the mourners move along the streets of the city along with the flag, Alam Shia and cloths with ancient inscriptions and flags and signs, and some people sing a lament and lift chains and put them on their shoulders. They beat themselves and express their regret and sorrow for the martyrdom of Imam Hussain and his companions. They show their devotion to Imam Hussein by Lamenting and grieving to the tune of beating drums, sound of bugles and chants of “Ya Hussein.”
