Taking the opportunity of good weather, I sanded rough wood in order to paint it. I used the orbital sander, a highly efficient tool. First 60, than 120 and finally 240 sanding paper.

Works to be done outside, as far as possible from the house, for avoiding to have dust entering into the house.
