► Weep Hole Knockouts: The four weep hole knockouts in the drainage basin allow standing water to drain into the soil, preventing bacteria, algae growth, foul smells, and mosquito breeding grounds. To knock out the weep holes, use a hammer and a Phillips or slotted screwdriver.

► Cut-Out Guides: The catch basin features cut-out guides on the sides for improved adaptability, allowing for better alignment and connection with 3" and 4" diameter sewer-and-drain pipes at various elevations. Keyed circular cut-out guides on each side enable connections to 3" to 8" diameter drain pipes, with an additional cut-out guide on the bottom for extra flexibility.

► Grate Seat Marking: The basin grate seat features markings that provide guidance for installing a basin filter to prevent system clogs and instructions to use only NDS basin grates to protect your product warranty. These grates are available in a wide selection of materials, colors, and styles.

► Compatibility: The redesigned 9 and 12 in. Catch Basins are fully compatible with existing NDS products, including risers, drainage grates, outlet adapters, and filters. Drain grates come in a variety of materials (plastic, steel, brass, and iron) and styles (flat, atrium, and decorative), with plastic options available in multiple colors. Outlet adapters are available for connecting to 3, 4, 6, and 8 in. pipes.
