I decided to do something drastic, something crazy, that's never been done before in the history of the synth YouTube-sphere… I read the SP404MKII manuals. crazy, I know! but it allowed me to fully understand the To-Gu-Ro effect, as well as others (Tremolo/Pan, SuperFilter etc).

and damn... did you know that you can create a whole array of useful sounds with it? I was able to make a wub/wobble bass and a riser, which is super important for transition, build ups and drops.

one thing that I missed on theSp404MKII is the lack of advanced sound design tools; namely, you know, assignable envelopes and LFOs. but the effects we're exploring in this video DO have LFOs built in, so I guess that kind of makes things up a bit...? what do YOU think?
