A cover of a Tempest by Deftones!

I love this song and wanted to cover it for a really long time but I haven't had a seven or eight string. The song is in Drop E tuning on an eight string guitar and I only have seven strings with 26'5 scale which is not that great for 8 string style tunings. My guitar is set up for Drop F#, so I tuned down seventh and sixth strings to E and B, so basically it's a drop B with low E. It worked pretty good I must say!
I also tried Neural DSP's Archetype Gojira and it sounds amazing for those ridiculously low tunings. Great plugin and with a built-in whammy pedal I may try to cover nine strings songs from the new album😉
