In this weeks video I do 3 racks of St. Louis Style Ribs way too hot and way too fast!

Right off the bat I will say that like I said in the video, you need to always know the cooker you're using so I will chalk this mess up all on me! However I did stick my thermoworks smoke X4 in the grill after I was done.... I had the GMG set to 275F and the X4 was reading anywhere from 370-385F. I have had issues in the past with this grill but I thought I had all the kinks worked out of it but apparently not. So this is unfortunately strike 3 on that GMG so she will be put in timeout for a long while.

For those of you who are going to ask. I've had everything on this GMG set the same way for the last dozen cooks and never had this issue. I vacuum out my grill at-least every other cook and the temp sensor clean. After I finished this cook I powered the unit down until it cooled and then fired it back up to 275F and it was +\- 15to20F.

Any-who I will say that on the good ribs the flavor from the Butcher BBQ products was fantastic and will for sure use the same combo again. I actually plan to run this same exact cook again in the near future but use my Pitts And Spitts Maverick 1250. So if I get it done I will for sure record it and hopefully have it up soon!

I do not want to stray anyone away from GMG what so ever! I personally have a lot of friends that own the grills and know of a ton of people who have them and they work great for them. For me I just have had bad luck. Anyways thanks for watching and see you all in the next video!
