Welcome to Day 2 of our first annual California State Parks Week! Today, we are exploring some of the many careers that California State Parks has to offer! Officer Hoff works as a lifeguard, peace officer, and K9 handler at Bolsa Chica and Huntington State Beaches. In this video, he explains how he started his career at California State Parks and how he and his partner, K9 Torq, work together to keep our beaches safe.

On Kids Career Day, we invite kids and families to explore all the important jobs that people do to help keep parks healthy and running, and to learn about kid-friendly opportunities such as the Junior Ranger, Junior Ecologist and Junior Lifeguard programs.
