Welcome to day 12 of the discourse!

In today’s discourse, Acharyaji narrates Duryodhanavadhe in detail and moves on to Krishna, the most enigmatic character in Mahabharata. The story starts with the conversation between Bhima and Gandhari. Acharyaji explains many nuances in Dharma at this juncture. Balarama who had gone on pilgrimage during the Mahabharata war returned then. He was the one who taught mace-fight for both Bhima and Duryodhana.

Krishna’s role in Mahabharata starts with the letter he sent in the name of king Ugrasena to Dhrtarashtra. Some of the many facets of Krishna that Acharyaji will be focusing on are: Krishna as a statesman, Krishna as an ambassador of peace, Krishna as a war strategist and Krishna as an avatari.

Remaining lectures will be dedicated to Krishna.
