We need flashlights in a very practical way on our smallholding every day. There are no street lights, very light pollution and if we are to find chickens roosting up trees or walk to a neighbours without falling over something we need flashlights.

Unfortunately, there is a trend with modern flashlights to add functionality which sounds great and helps companies sell torches. In reality these functional "innovations" just make the flashlights over-complicated and SO ANNOYING!
