This video draws a comparison between the trekking conditions to Sh.Kedarnath Dham in May/June and in September/October respectively. The holy shrine witnesses huge crowd influx in May/June which often leads to shortage of accommodation(hotel/guest house) and food stock across the route leaving many pilgrims stranded for a night without shelter and appropriate facilities to feed themselves. As a result of these consequences, the prices of many commodities soar high due to excessive demand. Contrary to this, if one prefers to undertake this pilgrimage in September/October, he/she can easily avail cheap and descent facilities(accommodation, food, clothes, etc) everywhere and undoubtedly witness meagre crowd.
This pilgrimage becomes much significant in the latter months due to fresh dispersal of monsoon leaving behind lush green flora and fauna. Nature welcomes all the pilgrims with open arms and one can feel rejuvenated in real sense, surrendering all pain and sorrows. Alas! if you plan to visit this auspicious shrine in May/June, you may fall prey to frustration and more fatigue due to heavy crowd, unpleasant weather and acute shortage of basic facilities. Hence, keeping in mind your ease of travel and feeling of true accomplishment, we, at "Club Defender Of Nature' recommend you to visit the holy shrine in September/October!
