At my uncle's club restaurant Ralph Cortez's "Congas de Cortez" - "Geezer's Gone Wild"! July,17th 2008. I finally got to meet Dimas Garza at this event after all these years and glad I did! Always wondered as a kid what he looked like when I bought the 45 single "Succeeded"/ "I don't want to love you again". I was too young to go to dances/clubs back then! We talked for a long time and told me a few stories about his time singing with the Royal Jesters and as a solo artist! He autographed my Westside Chicano Oldies Cd! The most kind hearted and a wonderful human being I've ever met! He past away 4 months later! R.I.P. Dimas!
