This the first video I've made with my new laptop, I went from struggling to run even just a 6 player BeamMP session at 60fps, on potato graphics, no shadows, low quality textures and reflections etc, to a laptop capable of 200fps in that same scenario, but on max graphics. It's pretty much a dream come true for me.

For this video, even with OBS running (I still think I need to setup obs better, I don't think it recorded perfectly) it managed around 170fps average, and while the recording of course is 60fps, it is a constant smooth 60 fps.

The big thing however is that the resolution and graphics settings are completely maxed out, and that makes for some stunning footage of BeamNG at its best, simulating Touge racing. This Touge run with my good friend Honda leading happened on the Beam.Touge Happogahara2k server.

Honda of course still walks away from me on the Touge, I'm still learning how to do this in general, and optimize these corners to actually be fast, but I'm definitely getting there, you can tell by my lines which corners I'm confident in, and which I'm not quite there on yet, but ultimately I just need more practice, and man is it ever fun, if you're not doing standard tire togue driving in BeamNG, I highly recommend it.

Laptop Specs: Lenovo Legion Pro 7 Gen 8 AMD
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX (16 cores)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4090
(A full power Laptop 4090, that roughly yields performance somewhere in-between a desktop 3080 and desktop 3090, out performing the 3090 in some specific work loads, underperforming in others, you get the idea, pretty impressive however given the laptop card uses half the power of the desktop counterparts)
Ram: 32gb 5200Mhz DDR5
Game is on a a 1tb ssd.
