Unlike probably no other field of study, there is something of a debate about what "history" is, and how and why historians study. Can one include the study of myths in history? Maybe not. But if you put those myths into their historical context? It's hard to argue that that's not history. What if you're studying an event which is believed to happen, but categorically did not happen? I could go on and on.
This video will look at what "history" is, and will offer an answer to the question.
