---------- Who am I and what is the project that you can help?

I am Ludovic, the main and only actor of my modest renovation videos!

Well, when I talk about actor.... Don't expect a big show, because I have never done theater or anything, I am simply a pruner during the week and a handyman on the weekend, which has nothing to do with it, but that's not the main thing..!

To go into more detail about me, I celebrated my 33rd birthday at the end of January 2023 and share my life with my wife Valérie, who does not want to be particularly visible on YouTube at the moment, which I respect and completely understand. Our place of residence during the week is in the Drôme, not far from the city of Valence, but in the countryside!

On the other hand, on the weekend, it's not the same story! We both leave 3 hours from our home on our renovation project in Haute-Loire at an altitude of just over 900m.
In 2020, we bought an old farmhouse made up of several buildings including a main house, a barn and a small house.
This one is located on the mountainside, with terraces to form flat areas.

The work is substantial, a lot of things to redo whether it is the walls of the buildings, the roofs, the walls of the terraces of the land and so on....
The base is there, but no more.

However, I see great potential to make something exceptional out of it, the house of my dreams in short.

The day this is possible, we therefore wish to leave our dear Drôme to live completely in Haute-Loire and to welcome guests with for example a gîte in the mini-castle, and many other ideas, there is no shortage of it, you can trust me! But before that there is still a lot, a lot of work to do!

But with all my tenacity and energy, as some I think have observed in my videos, I want to discover all the trades, and even if I have explored some of them in a completely amateur way before, I have no training or professional experience in the construction field, but what a pleasure to rack your brains to try to understand each thing as it should be.
So I invite you all to follow me in this fantastic project, which is I think, in a spirit and style that is not common on the internet!

---------- Why?

Big question, just all this work, but especially the shooting on site, the editing takes a lot of time...

The equipment I invested in to try to share better quality videos, as well as self-training (as for the rest 😁) in the field of video editing...

All this means that if kind contributors want to help me in this slightly crazy project (or of a crazy person?!), know that I would be infinitely grateful, and wishing to share the work for many years to come, I have to keep going 😌

---------- What are the rewards?

Many series of videos on the work to discover for many years, all this on a human scale, made by a Sunday handyman who puts all his heart into it!
Of course I know it's not much, but if it could at least inspire one of you, it would be a great victory for me.
