Do you need a huge butcher block island? Well you are in luck. Here is a simple trick to cut and glue stock butcher block counter tops for a seamless kitchen island.

I purchased these 25"x8' pieces from lowes and glued them together to create a 7'x3' island for around $500. I finished the counters with 4 coats of minwax wipe-on poly.
