Rail bikes travelled the entire 8 mile length of the Stewartstown Railroad all the way from Stewartstown, PA to New Freedom, PA. This is a rare move as the last freight train past the 6:40 mark way back in 1972. The line is still maintained to minimum standards in hopes that trains may once again ride the rails.

The rail bikes are operated by American Rail Bike Adventures, a company that offers rail bike excursions May-October.
