A little crude, but after following these steps my own instrument/rev counter lighting issue has been fixed. This it seems is a common problem with various Fn2 models. Symptoms include - intermittent operation of rev counter/ instrument lighting - having to tap or bang counter in order to get lights to come back on. I'm no expert so please take this video as such. But, like I say my lighting issue was very problematic and following these steps did the trick. which one of these steps Actually was the 'fix' I have no idea. it could even just be the clean up of dimmer switch. So you could try all three steps or simply try one or the other. Again I'm simply repeating the process I had done. good luck.
