Ross Island / Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep is situated just around a short boat ride away from Port Blair in the Andaman Islands. t belongs to the South Andaman administrative district, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The admin offices and buildings are ruins now which makes it very picturesque and a must-visit place in Andaman Island. Ross Island also has a light and sound show.

North Bay is a secluded part of Port Blair that spans over a relatively medium area and is generally visited by tourists on a day trip to both Ross Island and North Bay. Although the island doesn’t offer many sightseeing options for visitors other than the shoreline and jungle, it is one of the best places for Water Sports in the Andaman Islands. It has a shallow shoreline that offers a magnificent underwater view. The beach is white sand and shaded by dense tropical trees with hints of huts and wooden benches to set the mood. there are many activities like Scuba Diving, Sea Walk, parasailing, snorkeling, Dolphin glass bottom boats, Submarine boat rides, etc.

if you are visiting Neil and Havelock and if you don't mind skipping the large collection of watching live corals at one point. you can skip North Bay. In that case, I suggest taking an evening boat from Port Blair to Ross Island to cover Ross Island as well as the light and sound show.
