#retro #retrocomputing #vintagecomputer 35 years after my first experience scanning photos into a computer in our school's computer lab, I have acquired the very same scanner that I used there. Scanning isn't super-appreciated in 2024 - it's just a tool we use daily. But back in the late 80s it was something impressive to me - especially as we gained photorealistic graphics, and the ability to manipulate them, with the advent of VGA. Let's see what this Chinon DS-3000 can (and can't) do!
